Do you know what this cubby like hole is for? Could it be something available in other similar chassis? Is this how it's supposed to be in SL55 or am I missing some sort of cap/part that goes over it? It's at the end of fuel distribution rail on the driver side.
Looks like a Canadian blinker fluid reservoir for the heated blinker fluid. Should be a cap and a small recirc pump mounted there. I'm sure some of the other forum experts can correct me if I'm wrong.
It's been said that many owners removed due to recurring CEL's caused by the pump freezing in the sub zero weather. Maybe that's where yours has gone?
Thanks for chiming in. Just looking at it I'd say there's probably little space for a pump to fit in. Plus, there's nowhere to attach the pump except the one bolt for the supercharger that you see in the pics.
