Im looking for a set of these wheels in good shape. Preferably in California but if a deal is good with shipping im open to that as well. I believe these come on r230 sl models. They look like the stock e55 wheels but the width and offsets are different.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe these wheels (Type IV?) only came stock on the SL65 and the P030 SL55 and in both instances they were 19".

The 18" version of this wheel was popular on the SL600 (2006 or so?). I was tired of bending 19" fronts on my sl55 so I was looking for a set from an R230, BUT INSTEAD found the cls55 version was a better fit for me and my car as they have a slightly lower positive offset (so they are about 5mm further out from the center line of the car). The fronts are 18 x 8.5 et 25 (part number A219 401 1102) and the rears are 18 x 9.5 ET 28 (part number A219 401 1202). Here are a couple of pics on my 2003 sl55.
Worth mentioning (don't know if it might be an issue for others)
While I have zero rub (with 285 michelin rears), I had previously rolled the inner lip of both rear wheel openings for some 19 x 11" forgestars ... AND Mercedes does list these/similar rim widths/offsets (in 19") for an r230 (19 x 8.5 et 25 front and 19 x 10 et28 rear) with the stipulation "modification of bodywork necessary".
