PULLEY TENSIONER QUESTION
Forum,
Can anyone tell me how to check if the pulley tensioner needs replacing?
I had a fairly new Gates serpentine micro-v green heavy duty belt fray on me pretty quickly and I was thinking it may be from a weak tensioner.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

SL55AMG + SL600 + E320 + A180
I got hold of a tensioner with an extra bracket and a bolt adjustment for holding the extra power ,,,, it was sitting on an engine from Carlsson
Study it and you will see a difference se my build thread 148 plink - not sure why the link do not work?
