Looking for this engine cover post
I noticed the metal engine cover over my SL65 intercoolers was rattling on one side. I popped it off and noticed I'm missing this screw in post. It screws in the firewall side of the cover and pushes through a rubber grommet to hold it in place. I've fashioned a temporary post, but I would like to find one of these. It isn't listed in the M/B parts diagram. Anyone have any idea if this actually has a p/n or can be found somewhere else?

2008 SL65 AMG & 2014 GLK250 Bluetec
Replace these plastic pins with stainless bolts
I got some M4 stainless hex bolts and cut them down to length and added a rubber brake bleeder cap grommet. Permanently fixed. $10.00



Note: if you don’t repair these pins, the engine vibrations will make the metal cover cut through the coolant tubes on the intercooler.
