Bose Sound System Wiring Diagram
Hello Everyone,
I have purchased a Kenwood radio to install in my 2005 SL500. I checked out Spiral Audio... but, they said their harness will only work with a Becker system and on Bose.
Does any know of a source of a pigtail that will work with a Bose system
Or..... does anyone know of a wiring diagram for the Bose System.
I have the WIS/ASRA system but, can't find a sound system wiring diagram

So I don't know if you're still seeking answers, but I found the most reliable way to do audio on the r230 SL is to replace the amplifier with an aftermarket, a second amplifier for the subwoofer alone (because it needs to be stable all the way down to half an ohm), and to run RCA/audio cabling from the head unit back to where the amplifiers are behind the driver's seat. You cut the OEM amplifier pigtail, and use a speaker tester with each pair of cables to see which speaker it runs to. I then extend each set of speaker wires, connect them to the amp, and wire it all up. It just wasn't worth the struggle and jank solutions to try to keep the OEM amp, because even a $100 amp from Amazon was a million times better.
