SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Roof not closing.

Roof not closing.
Hey forum members,
If any of you are vario-roof operation experts, I can surely use your input.
I never had any problems opening or closing my roof on my 03 SL55 amg until today.
What's happening is the closing operation is not completing so the display shows the picture of the opened roof on the left side and "in operation" on the right side. I can't activate the roll bar when the roof is not fully closed but when the roof is opened the operation can fully complete. Roll bar works and everything is fine. Just when trying to close the roof is when I experience this issue. Any suggestions?
