Brake Dust

Does anyone recommend brake pucks that do not put out a lot of dust?

I do not know what to recommend but my brakes do the same thing.

Ceramic pads will eliminate this issue. Lots of vendors make these for Mercedes, just use Google.

@Nokiemon is correct. I'm putting Akebono pads on my 4th vehicle this week. My old pads work (stop), but I have had it with cleaning the dust off. I've found Akebono pads have virtually no dust, stop well, have good brake feel, are long lasting and have no more squeak than other pads. Some say your rotors will wear more, but I don't care since when I do pads I do rotors too (thank you FCP parts warranty).

I have a E43 as well and the dust is god awful but the brakes work good. My old w213 E300 also made that same noice and I too, it to the dealer and they replaced them as it was also a cert pre owned and was a few months in to the purchase. Then it would happen only when cold. Go figure.

New owner of 2007 SL55 AMG

I recently installed Hawk ceramic front pads on my SL55. Much less brake dust and they don't squeal every time I apply the brakes like my previous pads.
