The pulley bearing in my supercharger belt tensioner is starting to make a little noise.so I want to replace it. My dilemma is should I replace the entire belt tensioner from FCP for $209 or just the pulley for $130 from Ultimate Performance Design (UPD). If I buy the belt tensioner from FCP Euro, it will be the last one I will have to buy because of their warranty. If I just replace the pulley with UPD's billet pulley, I will be able to just replace the bearing later down the road. I'm leaning towards the tensioner from FCP because I think at some point the tensioner itself will need to be replaced. How do you know if the tensioner needs to be replaced? Any input will be appreciated.
