Angry SL63 AMG (R231) Roof Problem and Damage

Has anyone experienced this before? When closed the roof there was a 'clack' right at the start followed by the roof closing normally. On inspection the rear window section had contacted with the glass roof just on the left-hand side, cracking the glass roof at the back and damaging some paintwork. See picture below. The MB dealer is saying they can find no fault and glass is not covered under any MB warranty. This is a 9000 mile 2016 model car. Should this be happening? Anyone else out there had a similar fault? Thank you for any feedback

It looks like your left load assist cylinder has an issue - Is your hydraulic reservoir fluid correct? - I have replaced several complete sets of all the roof cylinders and ones found that one of the lines had a blockage but no system leaks.
