Just sold my '11 Porsche TurboS cab for an '03 SL55!
Preferred 18" Tires?
Hi,
My '03 SL55 is on stock 18" wheels with Michelin AS3+ tires that are in need of replacement.
I see lots of Michelin AS choices and many non-Michelin too. I'm not necessarily committed to Michelin either.
I live in the Rockies with snow and all, and don't need max summer traction so it seems that an AS would be best.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

If you are happy with AS3+ winter performance/comfort, you can get the AS4. Performance comparison of Michelin tires:

If you are looking for snow oriented all seasons, you should look for All Weather tires, eg Michelin Cross Climate 2:

I held off on tires for now as I'm just using it locally. New skins when I'll be traveling. Adequate tread, they are 6-7 YO.

Will do. I generally run Michelin's on our cars. Heading over to Costco this afternoon as Michelin's are on sale. Reviews I've seen show the Pilot Sport AS 4 is a good product. Will likely go that direction.
