Can anyone tell me please where is the engine oil temperature sensor located in the M113K? can the oil level sensor in the oil pan also be the oil temp sensor?
I have the the SL55 P030 with the additional oil cooler at the side and the additional oilcooler fan is allways on. Even on a cold start it is workig! I suspect the temperature sensor is giving a higher read then it acctualy is.

Fairly certain the sensor/switch used for that fan (p030&sl65) is the one threaded directly into the end tank on the very same oil cooler

I completly forgot that the 65 should be the same. I just looked for the SL65 on the EPC in the Star Diag, found the the temperature sensor!
For some strange reason the EPC showing some parts as "not for this model" for the SL55 P030 even though they are same as in the SL65. It must be a mistake.
