R230 SL63 (M156) Fuel Filter | Clarity Re: Part Number Discrepancy
There is a part number discrepancy and error out there regarding fuel filters for the 2009 SL63.
0024775701 is the correct part number for all 3 years of production for the R230 SL63 AMG. I verified this via MB EPC before ordering the filter from FCP and can also confirm that 0024775701 is the exact filter my 2009 model came with from the factory (recently replaced the original, which had an '08 mfg. date).
It shows up as compatible with the 2011 and 2012 SL63 only, and a different number comes up for the 2009 SL63...which is an error.
0024776101, which many retailers list as compatible with the 2009 SL63 only, is not the correct part. This is a filter intended for the M275 V12 cars.
