Best service in L.A. area? Service horrible in Vegas!
I need some info, I live in Las Vegas and the service at the dealership is horrible. For example, Fletcher Jones Mercedes Benz was unable to balance my wheels correctly so I had to take them to Discount Tire to get it done !. In addition, they've screwed up my ventilation system, can't align the car and can't seem to hear a continuously audibly gurgling/percolating fuel pump. The car is 3 months old and the icing on the cake is that they won't even give me a loaner because I didn't buy the car from them.
So, I'm going to drive the car to LA and leave it there for a week to get everything done. I just need to know who pays attention to detail.

Penske Motor cars in West Covina 
I always see SL55's and other S/C AMG's there getting serviced. There is a customer with a SL 55 tuned by Brabus, which made his car into SL Brabus K8 That thing was so sweet. Anyhow that customer also drives very far to get his car serviced specifically at Penske, by a specific mechanic there. He is very ****, he wont let anyone touch his Brabus K8, only that particular mechanic at Penske. If you decide to goto Penske, they are awesome in customer satisfaction, make sure you call and book an appointment with Brian Wing. He handles all of our MB's for us. He is the man. He replaces/fixes everything for me, no questions asked. My car is mod'ed also, he gives me no bs, no problems with warranty etc. I use to goto The House of Imports, but they suck ***. I will never go back there again for service. I have been going to Penske for about 2 years now, I am more then happy with how Brian Wing has treated me.

I usually take my car to Downtown LA motors or Beveryly Hills. I think what is important when servicing your car is who you know as your service advisor. Depending on your service advisor, the car will be fixed on time or correctly. I bring my SL55, CL55 and ML500 to Ismael at Downtown or Terry at Beverly Hills.

FJLV kinda screwed me too. I took my car in and they scratched my Brabus engine cover 
I was supposed to send pics to Bill Cozel, my service rep, but didn't yet. I 'll go by next week to ***** them out.

Lemon Service at Fletcher Jones
A federal appeals court Monday [March 28, 2005] ruled that a $98,722 Mercedes S-500 purchased by a Las Vegas woman was a lemon.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said Marina Milicevic was entitled to a $94,432 refund including taxes and fees less an amount for her use of the car purchased in May 2001 from Fletcher Jones Imports Ltd.
