SL55 Winter questions and suggestions req!
I live up here in Toronto, Canada. I currently own a '03 M3 Cab and a '03 SL500. I've decided that having both is pretty redundant and I'm considering an SL55 to replace both of them. The thought originally was the M3 as my daily driver (including winter months) and the SL strictly for the weekends (stored for the winter). The SL55 would have to be winter driven for just this one season.
The questions that I have is...
1) Will the SL55 perform satisfactorily in the winter? (I know the SL500 has that W/S button and the ability to raise the suspension) I ask this because the M3 had no problems in the previous seasons. If anyone has experience please advise on Wheel size, Tire size, and Make please.
2) I also have a beautiful set of HRE rims for the SL500 and want to know if the bolt pattern and offset is compatible with the SL55
Any input would be appreciated.

Sorry, Poverty-- it only snows once every 7 years in Austin
. I can say that my SL55 drives great in the rain, unlike any of the pure sports cars I've had in the past.
Cheers,
Paul
