Hey guys, I wanted to get a cutout valve straight pipe exhaust on my 2003 sl55 amg. Is it possible for me to place the cutout valve right after the headers removing the (157 on diagram) Firewall catalytic converter and running another set of dual straight pipes along the existing stock pipes? Then connecting the straight pipes to the stock pipes right after the muffler with a Y pipe to make it come out the exhaust tips when valves are either open or closed?

So the only solution is to add the cut off valve only and have the straight pipe exhaust exit towards the engine area of the car? Or can I have straight pipes go further back?

Im just going to get cutouts to remove 157 firewall cats and it can exit under seats

And get yourself a nice check engine light in the process.
