Purchasing European Parts in USA

Does anyone know of a website that will allow me to purchase European Parts for an 04 SL55. I want to be able to have the side mirrors fold automatically. This is an option in Europe. I am also looking for the automatic lowering option when the car goes more than 145KM.

Thanks

Sorry, I can't help you with a website, that I know that you can order parts directly from Mercedes in Germany and they will ship to the US (have done so in Bremen where the SL's are build, issue is that you need to know the part numbers and speak German ). The automatic lowering also occurs in the US models. No change there.

The only difference is that the US SL's are not as low as the German versions due to modified suspension software. Not sure, but believe that this was done to meet DOT regulations...

Any really good MB tech that you befriend($$$, that helps), will be able to version code necessary control units in the car to achieve German ride height. As for folding mirrors, U.S. cars are not equipped with wiring in the harness to power them. Live with it, unless you would like to start buying euro wiring harness(that is hard enough for U.S. cars).
