EuroCharged" Stage 2 kit.- 180mm crank pulley
I'm looking at an SL55 for sale that has an "EuroCharged" Stage 2 kit.
From what I can tell, Eurocharged no longer makes this kit. Apparently it included a 180mm crank pully, tune, headers, and upgraded heat exchanger.
1. What kind of power did this kit make?
2. Was it fairly reliable?
3. It seems most kits today use a smaller "supercharger pulley" to create more boost. I always heard this was "safer." However it seems Renntech used the larger crank pully in it's power kits which tells me it could be the way to go. But, won't a larger crank pulley also spin the accessories (alternator, water pump, tandem pump, etc) faster resulting in faster wear on those components too?

I and many others change the supercharger rather than crankshaft pulley, for no other reason than it’s much easier to perform. If anyone can explain any advantage of crank vs blower pulley I’d love to hear it…
