Question Supercharger oil maintenance

Hi all...

When is the appropriate time to change the supercharger oil? Mercedes doesn't define what a lifetime is for the supercharger. Should I be listening for something or is it at some interval?

If original, I would change it regardless of mileage.

I've read ~50K miles as an interval, but after seeing what the fluid looked like on my S55 with ~55K miles on it at the time, I decided on a 25K mile interval moving forward.

I just did the change tonight with the help of this video.
I extracted 140 ml which seemed like a success. Took some fiddling with tools and finally a 1/4 drive ball hex socket with a wobbly extension was the perfect way to get that stupid plug reinstalled. I dropped it twice and found it ...and I ordered replacements for when I drop it next time. Also my plug looks like someone struggled with it...all the more reason to get spares. Now that I figured it out I will probably change it again shortly considering the stank of the oil that came out. Also I read a lot of people filling the sump until it comes out the fill. By the looks of the diagram that seems like twice the spec of 150ml. To each their own, but I followed the spec.

Good job, overfilling is not recommended. It is best to use the right exact stuff (pictured) and the exact correct amount. I bought the oil and a syringe kit, but haven't done the oil change yet myself, for fear of dropping and losing that plug. Where did you get your spares?

I magnetized everything first which helped me find it, but I was lucky. Thing is designed to get lost.
