SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: PSE pump replaced but seats no longer fill bladders.

PSE pump replaced but seats no longer fill bladders.
I have changed out my defective PSE pump on my 2005 sl 65. The doors unlocked and trunk opens but my seats no longer fill or massage. Does anyone have any insight on how to remedy that problem? They did work before PSE pump replacement.

I see, hopefully you have the old PSE pump. You will need STAR/DAS unit or maybe one of the others can do it. I have not done PSE but I did do front SAM which I assume to be a similar procedure. With the old one in you go into STAR/DAS and there will be a menu item to replace the PSE pump. This will walk through a procedure that involves STAR/DAS reading codes from old unit. storing them while to physically exchange PSE pumps, then writing coding to the new pump.

Coding the unit is probably your problem. The pumps are common to many platforms and coding tells it what options the car has. Any independent MB shop should have the correct diagnostic unit. Depending on where you live you could try posting on the R230 FB groups. maybe someone is close that could help you out.
