VRP 76mm pulley and a p0106 CEL that won't die

Hi good people of MBWorld. I'm looking for help and hoping that it may be helpful to others as well. I'm honestly at my wit's end
2005 SL55 AMG

TL;DR is I've installed a VRP 76 mm clutched supercharger pulley, VRP stage 3 cooling package, VRP ECU tune, MKUltra TCU tune and I keep getting a p0106 check-engine code for Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem. Details below

Initially with the physical upgrades, my tech flashed a Eurocharged ECU tune and I got the CEL quite soon after taking delivery. Tried clearing a few times, tried reflashing the tune as well, the error would always come back within a week of normal driving. My tech even replaced the MAP sensor to ensure the car was mechanically sound, still the CEL returned.

I thought maybe it was an issue with the tune so we tried going from Eurocharged to the VRP tune. When I first took delivery of the car, I got the same CEL but it went away spontaneously and I drove the car for 3-ish weeks under all kinds of conditions (spirited driving, highway, city) with no issue. The other day, I noticed as I was slowing to a stop light and the car was shifting from 2nd to 1st, the car "hiccupped" a bit with the RPMs kind of bouncing near idle. Later in the day, while cruising on the highway, the CEL came back--p0106.

I'm reaching at straws now but my next thought is if there's a problem with the pulley itself. I may be crazy but when I watch the supercharger pulley spin, it looks like it has a wobble to it. When I did the performance upgrades, my tech replaced the drive belt at that time so I can't imagine that the belt is going bad.

Other things that may be of consequence?--I really don't know
- To install the additional coolant reservoir as part of the split cooling upgrade, he disconnected the passenger side intake hose from the pipe that leads to the grille. He is planning on relocating the reservoir to reconnect this intake because that was bothering me
- Could it be an issue with the TCU not playing nice with the engine upgrades? I initially doubted this could be the case
- We haven't done any kind of "smoke test" to check all the vacuum lines but I presume that should be done

I would really, really appreciate any ideas or experiences you all may have had... This has been a headache for months now and I just want to enjoy the thing
Thanks in advance!

It's the tune. If you go stock I bet you won't get it.

How do I know? I have the same euro charged tune and have read countless threads on it.

it's random, usually on the highway after a burst then some deceleration and next thing you know you see it in the cluster.

It's been a while since I had one actually.

I was convinced it was the tune as well, hence why I switched to the VRP tune. The CEL definitely stayed away for longer with the new tune and it clears itself more regularly but it is still there.
my worry is can I run the 76 mm pulley without a tune? From my research that doesn’t seem to be a workable solution

in other fun news, my car suffered a hot-no-start and threw a crankshaft position sensor code. Perfectly timed coincidence, possibly? I read on another deep dive in the forums another member who had a similar set of failures and discovered an issue with the ECU wiring harness

I had a cps fail also a couple years ago..stranded drove a few blocks..stranded. Towed and replaced it. No issues again.
