I need replacement filters for a 2006 sl65 with the Renntech 3 PC airbox. Currently I have the Green Filter ones (#2892) but the filter frame is disintegrating. What other brands are good and what size do I need to replace these with ? I cannot find this anywhere and no luck so far contacting Renntech. Thx !!!
RENNtech intakes come with BMC filters for the most part.
Below is the part number on both BMC's and RENNtech's website.
What's interesting is the comment on RENNtech's site that the BMC filter set doesn't fit their intake, which is unusual given that other RENNtech intakes use the factory sizes for their filters.
Do you have photos of your airbox and the Green Filters that are currently on it? Curious to see if it's an obvious different size / style.
Hi thanks for your comments. Indeed the Renntech website links to filters that don't fit the enlarged airboxes. In the meantime, I got a reaction from Greenfilter and they will replace the defective filters. I sent them some pics to show the damage and the fact that they were slightly bigger then the ones I replaced.

Where in NJ are you? I have a set of M275 BMC filters in storage that you're welcome to test-fit.
Separate note, there's also a good group of R230 guys in the NY / NJ area. We're going to try to coordinate more meet-ups and driving events this upcoming spring if you're interested.
Thx for the reply! I just noticed the pic of the folters in the engine bay did not post correctly. I will try again. The filters need to be around 8 1/4 x 9 7/8 to fit. I am in north NJ and yes, I would be interested to meet up on a nice summer day ! Renntech airboxes
