Water Pump torque specs+torque order
Hi - can anyone out there help me?
1. Can anyone post a picture from WIS showing the torque specs on the water pump for a 2004 SL55AMG with the M113k engine - in addition to seeing exactly what the manual has to say, I would like to know whether there is stage 1 and stage 2 tightening for these bolts.
2. Does the manual have a picture showing what order( if any) the bolts should be removed and what order they should be torqued?
3. Can anyone confirm or otherwise that the torque specs for SL55 are the same as for the SL500 and SL350 R230?
Last but not least. Having removed the water pump on my car, there does not appear to be any paper type gasket between the pump and timing cover. Does that seem right? It's a low mileage one careful owner with Merc service history car and I cant see any evidence that the pump has previously been changed.
Really hoping someone out there can help me - and thanks in advance.

How to fit water pump to SL55 AMG M113k engine

Just in case anyone is interested, I recently posted a video on my channel showing what you need to do to a new non OEM water pump before you can fit it, and also how to fit the water pump to an M113k engine including the torque specs.
