SL65 Torque managment - How to get rid of completely?

Hey guys, just as the post reads, how do I go about getting rid of the terrible torque management on my 2008 SL65? The ECU and TCU are tuned by turbocharged, but the car still feels sluggish on the line and through 40/50 mph. When I give it 30% throttle, it reacts much better than 100% throttle. I understand the transmission might not be able to handle all the TQ off the line, and I'm ok having it rebuilt to handle more if I blow it. I've even put the car in dyno mode, and it still feels sluggish off the line.

What are my options? A different transmission all together?

Hi,

Did you get any further in your investigation on this one? And also curious if you compared your TCU tune with other manufacturers. Very interested in this topic, letting that og torque out there.

The answer for anyone seeking improved shifting on a 722.6 is the MK Ultra TCU tune.

Torque management is used to reduce engine power for a few hundred milliseconds during shifts; otherwise the clutches being released and engaged will slip excessively causing wear.
If your car is sluggish off the line, it has nothing to do with torque management because the trans should then be in 1st gear. The stock torque management will make the shift into 2nd gear feel like sluggish; that is typically improved with a "TCU Tune".
My car, even with the stock SL65 tune, is absolutely traction limited off the line. Therefore I find it unexplained why you would find it sluggish.
Have to tried starts with the traction/stability control turned off? That should give you ridiculously spinning/smoking tires.
