Renntech or Brabus for the SL55?

So all you would be or current SL55 owners.

Which tuner would you go with? Who do you think will get the most performance out of the Supercharged Merc hardtops?

Renntech offers at most a stage 3 performancy pulley kit that puts the car up to 35hp to 410 or so w/torque at 560lbs...
promising 0-60 at 4.5 or less. (7K I think)

Brabus offers a K8 Performance kit that brings the car to 550hp and (no torque number) and no price numbers either. No 0-60 numbers either.

I am in touch with Renntech right now, I will keep you updated.

In all honesty, I'm just going to pull some strings and have AMG tune the car themselves, after all, they built it, plus I can walk into any Benz dealership and have it serviced as normal.

Folks at AMG are saying 600+, but no exact details. They're also accelerating my delivery time.

A friend of mine knows all the different tuning shops - his family buys *a lot* of cars. The list is sickening, we're talking like 40 cars or so, and all desirable.

Question Hey Bobafett

I am also awaiting a AMG Model (CL) . Would you be able to educate me on the process as well as production status. I would definitely enjoy a speeder process for my vehicle as well.

thanks in advance!!!!

Does anyone know if Brabus or Renntech can do the usual displacement increase to a SL55 in low compression that could then be mated to a Kleemann kit?
