I'm looking at a used 05 SL55 with 1k miles. MSRP was $128k and I can get it for $118k. Is this a good deal?

 

A friend of mine bought one back in December, 4k miles, 2005 model, with Pano-roof, $110,000.00.

 

that's a good deal. The important thing is the milege and the conditions and remember the extended warranty from the manufacturer.

 

hey tony, (or anyone) just in case you might be interested, my dad might sell his '04 SL 55 Black/Charcoal w/ Alum. trim 6100miles. it has all options EXCEPT phone and distronic and is extremely well cared for -no dents whatsoever. Asking $110K. Might consider a reasonable offer.

The dealer I ended up choosing was MB of Tampa. My salesman was Tom Fallon and he knows how to treat a customer. I'm picking up my car on Saturday. They have four other SL55's in stock and they gave me an awesome deal!

Hope you could put more pics of your car on saturday

 

I picked up my car on Saturday afternoon from MB of Tampa. I drove from West Palm Beach in my 2005 Porsche 997 which I traded in. The SL55 is Brilliant Silver/Ash with burl walnut and multispoke wheels. I've wanted to get an SL55 for a couple of years but it never seemed to work out. I got $10k off sticker on a new car. That's $5k more than I've ever heard of anywhere. They are willing to do the same on the other cars they have also. My salesman was Tom Fallon and I was extremely happy with the deal I received.
I drove home today in the pouring rain and wasn't able to enjoy putting the top down, but the car drove great. I'll take some pics this week.

 

Well here are some pics of my new car. I plan on getting Sirius installed sometime in the next month and eventually Renntech to remove the speed limiter.

Actually they gave me more than the local Porsche dealer wanted to give me on a trade. I was very happy with MB of Tampa and would recommend them to everyone.
