Hi, I've got a knocking noise that's got a lot worse very quickly. it started as a quiet knocking from the offside front wheel at low speeds. It now seems to be coming from both wheels and there's also an accasional banging from somewhere underneath, that sounds more central (under the centre console somewhere) obviously I can only hear this when I'm driving so hard to locate exactly... Car is approved used so I still have a warranty, but they won't see it for a month! I don't want to drive it so wondered three things: what is it? How do you get MB to hurry on up? If it's laying dormant on the drive for a month, what grounds have I got to get some kind of compensation (or maybe a AMG GTR hire car ;-) )

I should also say the car has done 18k miles and the sound has gone from zero to disturbing in less than 200 miles!

you have to take it in, let somebody figure out whats wrong. Im thinking its brakes or some rocks that are around the wheels or brakes
