Performance Package Steering wheel Cover

I'm looking to get the non leather wrap section of my '13 Performance Package SL63 steering wheel redone as it's a bit worn down. Has anyone found an upholstery vendor selling this material and or installation? Thanks! The non leather soft grip portion of my steering wheel cover is wearing down. Where can I get it replaced to be like new?

DCT motor sports does wheels. But I dont think you need one. That alcantara is pretty tough. Get a little bucket of hot water, some 409 or simple green, use a terry cloth towel and wet it and scrub it . Scrub it all around. wash it and scrub the fibers till they stand up again. dry it with dry towels. let it air dry out.

Thank you

I'll try both cleaning and if that doesn't work DCT. Thank you so much!

New Steering wheel Cover

I went ahead and hired an upholster company to put fresh leather and alacantra that matched the interior of the car on my steering wheel. It looks like new and feels fantastic now.

Did you have to remove the wheel for them? What was the cost?

they removed the steering wheel, reset the airbag, etc. the cost was $450.

it's the original leather but instead of the original suede I had them use the same material that's in the headliner. It's terrific
