fogged headlights
I had to drive 150 miles in the rain recently. Normally the car never sees any rain and I was suprised how foggy the headlights got. Overnight they cleared up.
Is that normal or do I have an issue?

I stopped at a dealer to ask about it and this particular dealer said, unless there was standing moisture in the bottom of the headlight, they would not be covered by my cpo.
Seems like significant fogging should be enough. I am going to try it (driving in heavy rain) again and document it.
Just wondered if any of you guys have had a similar issue.

Yes - I've had several SL's (all R230) and they've done it. Albeit, I don't live in a heavily rained/damp climate. So, I'm assuming it could be worse if you do. Always went away by next morning usually and/or the heat from the headlights helped also.
