Questions about 2015 SL63 vs 2018 SL63
Newbie to the SL platform, but not the MB brand.
I went to my local dealer today to drive a new ‘20 e53 cabriolet (wasn’t amazed) and fell in love
with a CPO ‘15 SL63. Only 22k miles, which seems excellent. Of course, then I went home to do
my due diligence research and found a CPO ‘18 SL63 with 7k miles which I love as well.
I think the facelift is cool, and I like newer things, but there is a $28k price difference. Trying to discern what all I would get for the money. Newer car would have 3 years of factory warranty left and 1 year of CPO, versus just 12 mos of CPO On the ‘15. That’s worth something for sure.
Would the ‘15 car have Bluetooth audio to stream music from my phone?
One more question - I’ve had an AMG car before (‘07 E63) and know maintenance ain’t cheap. What does a full brake service run for the SL63?
Appreciate all thoughts on the decision making.

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
you can extend the 15 at least 1 more year.
The 15 got the perf pkg as standard. so both have the same eng and trans so same performance
The 18 has updated bumpers and rockers. I think the same radio electronics, although there may be some newer features as they do update some things every year on most cars.
The options will tell the difference in the 2 cars.

The VIN is WDDJK7EA4FF032664 (for the ‘15).
I have the MSRP build sheet (car is being sold at an MB dealer) but cannot tell the command version from there or the usual VIN decoder site I use. If someone could find it, I would be humbly appreciative.
Options between The two are very similar.
Making sure I understand, the facelift is the bumpers and rockers - same engine, suspension and whatnot?
Perhaps with a deal on more CPO, the ‘15 wont feel as risky. With only 21k miles, it has been well cared for and is $30k less.

I would take a 15, I would rather have new looking version, but not for 30k. Its all about the options. I want everything. so its hard to find one.
