2014 SL65 harsh downshift
loud harsh clunk downshift from 7 >> 4th gear on fwy when trying to pass once.
Any thoughts on this?

When was the fluid changed, transmission serviced?

I'll try and dig out from previous owner - Car only has 50k miles. Fluid (& filter) is prob the only trans service.
I should have clarified - I'm asking for known prob areas or experiences relating to these symptoms & drivetrain.

Sorry and the answer is yes it does jerk but the severely depends on driving style and age of fluid, transmission adaptations and temperature of fluid.
