To suck or not to suck that is the question engine oil
Sorry for late replies lots going on at the moment as both headlamps, one under 4 years old, could keep goldfish in them !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will write on this here in a minute but the cars off the road for the summer including summer holiday as there are none in UK or EU
Thank you all especially CRConsulting for all the doc's etc
Well in the end I used the suck it method and it seems to have taken out all the oil as it taken a tad over 9 litres so I must have drained all the oil from the oil cooling coil as well via the dip stick hole to the sump. Despite it is under 12 months and under 4000miles since last service the oil was blacker than expected but that coil be just that’s its Castrol oil?
I used the newest Mobile 1 FS with correct MB rating MB 229.5 that comes in 5litre cans instead of the moire common 4 litres plus an Mahle filter that are really OEM anyway
Sill I was at my preferred independent today and noted they were draining the engines via the drain plug
To suck it and see is or was a common UK English expression meaning " to try something in order to find out if it is good, effective, etc."

But yes it was also an intended pun
and also intended to be eye caching as such headings I think get a quick response
