SL65 Black Series....It's Coming!!!!!!
In some states it is an issue for car dealers to take non-refundable deposits. Delaers can ask for anything they want but I have found it really didn't matter other than for the SLR I bought. That was a mess but it was due to all of the pre sales opportutnities that you were invited to.....
You are correct, there is not a Euro Delivery for the SL65BLK.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Oh, and your info. about software is not true. As you should know, any special launch of ANY vehicle has to get certification from Germany before release. That is why they are VPC delayed. I spoke with distribution this morning..

Thanks
Thanks
The games are strong on these cars......
For the record, your information was incorrect, sorry. That is not the reason the vehicles are delayed at the VPC. I'm sure there are a lot more people than me that know information on this car or any. I'm just here to help out and provide any service that I canIn my case, I was very pleased to find that certain people within Mercedes-AMG in Germany, as well as MB USA, took the time to see that I was able to get a CLK63 Black Series, close to the initial launch of the model.
I really respect the enthusiasm of the people from Mercedes-AMG. They showed themselves as true car people who really understand the enthusiasm that one can have for a car.
I have enjoyed the special experience of taking delivery of another Mercedes-Benz for my wife in Germany. And while that was wonderful, nothing will compare to finally receiving my CLK63 Black Series here in the U.S. Every time that I hear the engine fire up, it brings back the memories of all of the people who were involved in helping me obtain this car.
It has made a special experience even more enjoyable.
I wish I could afford to repeat the experience with an SL65 Black Series . . .

Finally, I've got two bucks and a box of Cracker Jacks to wager that your client will not receive the first car delivered to the public!!!
P. S. For anyone wanting to know, the ramp angle of an SL65 BS is supposed to be 7.4 degees. fully loaded with luggage, passengers, and fuel. Estimating the position of the wheel relative to the front bumper, I am guessing the front ground clearance to be less than 3.5".
