Cost of SL65BS Motor?
Hi Everyone,
I have a line on a SL65 Black with a blown motor, result of some improper tuning. Does anyone have an idea (even general ball park) at what a new motor might cost?

Yeah...please do say... By the way did you open the motor to see what is wrong with it? Could probably be rapairable???

Thanks for the info.
I'd rather not say who tuned the motor out of respect for the shop. They are taking care of the situation in a stand-up way and, the customer knew that they were pushing the envelope of safe power... I can tell you the car is not in the US, and was not tuned by a US tuner.
No one is angry, but the car might be for sale without a motor.
