SLK/R170: bent wheel

bent wheel
so i went to back to bell tire here in kalamazoo because of a wheel shimmy. they were realy nice and pulled all the wheels and rebalanced them. while checking them out, one of the front wheels are bent. these are the ASA's ST4's that I just got last fall. I didnt drive my ride for most of the winter and just got it back out reacently. anyways, the called back to tirerack. aparently there is no warranty on bends. I mean come on. i have driven this for 3 months tops. 4500 miles and hit the ocasional michigan pothole once and a while in this month, but there is no sighn of visable damage or anything. That was my biggest worry when buying these that they would bend. I curbend my stock wheels pritty bad, enough to blow a sidewall out and those are just scratched but true as can be. So this sucks ***. Now i need to pay another 280 somthing for a replacement after only 4500 miles. I'm not sure if these are the wheels for me in MI. damn michigan roads.

just get the bent wheel fixed, it should cost aroudn 100 dollars if the bend is only on the backside. I woudlnt neccesarily blame the rims, anything bigger than stock will bend easier. What size are they?
It sucks to bend a wheel, but luckily there should be some good wheel repair shops around so you dont have to buy another wheel.
