SLK/R170: New Owner Queries

New Owner Queries
I've just got my 1999 SLK 230 and have a couple of questions you guys might be able to answer.
1) when I use the remote to lock/unlock the car only the drivers side indicator lights flash. Is this correct or should both sides flash?
2) The passenger door rattles like hell when shutting. Investigation showed that the plastic brackets, which are glued to the inside of the interior door trim panel, have become unstuck. Anybody know what sort of glue to use to reattach them?
