Who ever wrote that article doesn't know a thing about cars; all they had to say was in the end the crossfire is a chrystler that will give you nothing but problems and mechiancal issues with no end. Lose its resale value quicker than a apple falling out of a tree and is over priced for what you get. Now all he had to say about the mercedes was; its a mercedes I'll leave it at that.

Ok, I didn't put that much research into it, I guess that car has one good aspect to it But other than that I mean come on, Compairing it the new slk? Thats like compairing the new saturn sky to the slk, looks good and everything, but its not even in the same league.

Magazine writers are happy to point out that the Crossfire is based on the R170 SLK so why even compair it to the R171 SLK. It is a good way for the R170 to live on without making competition for the R171.

I agree..Comparing the two doesn't make sense. While Chrysler must have been in a drug-induced stupor when the priced MSRP on the Crossfire, the prices you can pick one up for now makes them a quite a deal...I bought the SRT-6 since the 400 mile trip to my closest M.B. dealer got to be a royal pain but the fact I basically got a SLK32 (same engine, tranny, susp.) for $35k new, helped influenced my decision also
