Small annoying sound from the hatrack
I have a small metallic sound coming from the middle of the hatrack on my SLK-230, 99. Have anyone had the same experience or the solution to this annoying sound?
I have now found out that it is the hatrack itself that makes the sound. It is not fixed good enogh (hanging lose). Thinking of buying some kind of resonance killer. Any experience of this anyone?

Bumpers
If you mean the rear shelf, look up under it from the trunk side.
There are 2 rubber bumpers that fall off.
They are about 1.5 inches long and "c" shaped.
They clip onto the edge to keep it from rattling.

Ya, my hat rack is rattling, it's driving me nuts. I know of the little bumpers, I only see one. I guess I need to order a couple of those from the dealership.
Any other way to fix this issue?

I have these 2 rubber bumpers in the trunk, but it seams like they doesn't reach the shelf itself why they doesn't do any good.
Now I have filled the O-area in the 2 rubber bumpers with more rubber and placed them out on the edges (not in the middle) where they get the best contact with the shelf, and now it seams like it works.
