Driver side window not seated properly

Hi,

I'm a first time SLK owner, having just picked up my "baby" only a couple of months ago. I have noticed a slight problem though: with the roof up the drivers side window sometimes does not seat itself properly under the rubber roof seal. With the roof closed, I sometimes have to push the top back edge of the window to make it sit under the seal! Is this a typical problem with an easy solution, or is it a one-time dealer-must-fix.

99 SLK 230

I had the same thing with my 99 SLK. I brought in for the dealer to look at and they wrote this up in my invoice.
"Customer States left front window is not in proper position"
"Inspected window, found window coming out of seal onto roor. rr lefft door panel to inspect window stops nomial, rr left side upper window seal from roof. replaced seal and used top gauge to adjust top and adjusted leftft window. also adjusted leftft door striker and retested fully op"
Parts replaced under warranty:
170-790-01-98 Seal, folding
170-795-11-98 Seal, roof, vl
