Whats that button for!
I have breifly looked through my owners manual but figured this would be a faster way of getting my question answered! The button between the heated seat switch and the tracktion control, what does it do? When I press it, nothing happens anywhere. Thanks- D

It looks like it is for headlight washers but I'm pretty sure that this car didn't have that option because I have never seen one with that. Like its got a headlight looking thing with a whiper and some --- on it. (haha funny seat ejector's)

That's part of the K4 option package. Includes xenon headlights w/heated washers and heated seats. A quick way to tell optional equipment. Heated seats were available as an option by themselves, but xenon headlights came only with the K4 package. So, if you see the little washer doors on front, you know it has seated seats, too.

my pump was eaten by a leaky factory battery a few years back, I just ordered a new one, but it is not the correct part.
Does someone have the correct part number for a 1998 SLK 230 headlight washer pump?
The one I was sent was "A 210 869 11 21" and it has the electrical connector of the other pump... I have not opened the bag, so I am sure I can return it, but want to have the part number of the correct one... dealer wants $130, I got this one for $69 from autopartsworld.com and it is genuine mercedes...

UPDATE -
Per the dealer that autopoartsworld.com called, 2108691121 is the correct part number for the 2001 and newer SLK models and 2108690321 is for the earlier SLK models. The difference *appears* to be just the connector, the older model has a small rectangular one, the newer style is the larger oval connector with one side squared off, and a little tab on the squared side to keep it from getting connected to a regular windshield washer pump..... $70 is cheaper than the hassle of returning it and getting $130 one from the dealer...
I also have the washer but no K4 or heated seats.
