SLK/R170: Fog Lights

Fog Lights
A rock hit and broke the RF fog light lens on my '99 SLK 230 and I have been unable to figure out how to access the lamp. There seems to be no access from the front of the car, nor the engine compartment nor from underneath. Has anyone ever changed the lens and/or the bulb?

In front of trye in liner is a 6" square door. Open clip on outer edge and remove. Bit difficult fo access. Turm wheel one way 1st.
Use a dob of silastic when putting door back in on catch as after they have been removed the plastic looses some tension and door opens onto tyre and may rip off.

fog lights
Thanks, found the access panels but couldn't get my head in far enough to see. tried turning the wheels the other direction but still couldn't see inside. I'll have to remove the front wheel to get to the lights.
I could reach in there with my hand but without being able to see, I couldn't do a thing.
