A/C not working, CHECK ENGINE, ABS and ESP all lit.

We purchased an '01 SLK230 a few months ago, and within a few weeks the check engine light came on and stayed on ever since. We took it to Autozone for an error code and it indicated the Manifold Absolute Pressure Circuit.

The week after that, we noticed that when we started the car, the AC would not come on for the first 30 minutes. This causes the window to fox up and creates a real danger of being unable to see the road.

Now more recently, the ABS land BAS/ESP lights came on. They pretty much stayed on since but one time they went off for about two minutes and came back on. We didn't notice a "limp home mode" or any other change in performance, but this car is a 6-spd.

I am about to take it to service. Is there anything I should be aware of before I bring the car? It has 48K Miles and is in near perfect condition besides for these issues.

things with and without wheels
bas/abs/esp lights usually are caused by a bad brake switch - cheap and easy fix.

Abs Bas/esp Light On

I had service performed on my 1999 SLK. when the service was complete,I had the problem with ABS & BAS/ESP light coming on. The service person showed me how to get rid of it. Turn your steering wheel from the center position all the way to the right lock, and then all the way to the left lock and return it to the center position.

It worked for me. Try it.
