Whats up guys. I dont know much about SLK.

I have a friend who owns an SLK 230 (2000) I want to buy him new Tail Light covers. Preferrably clear. I'd also like to get him an LED light conversion if that is possible.

Does anyone know of where i can find this?? Any suggestions or ANYTHING that will change his stock look in the rear would be nice.

That's kinda ricey, isn't it? I don't think there's a big market for Mercedes rice accessories...generally the Euro aftermarket is more focused on performance stuff. (Different culture and all that...)

Get the 2001 "facelift" taillights. I don't think anyone sells clear taillights. You're going to have to spend a whole lot to get them clear.

Be careful not to make a change that will result in a bulb malfuntion indication on the instrument cluster. Also the SLK tail lights have a pending safety recall happening later this year.

How much would it cost me get the stock made clear?? I dont really care what the cost is. I just know the car will def. look bad *** with the tail lights clear.

He has the facelift model angel...so he might already have those tail lights.
