SLK/R170: OBD 2 Codes

OBD 2 Codes
Can someone give me some insight into two OBD 2 code.
They are P0133 - O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response Time, and P0170 - Fuel Trim Malfunction.
I assume P0133 means the O2 sensor is bad. What is P0170 telling me?
The car is 82K miles on it. I'm going to replace the O2 sensor (I assume it is original) but don't know what to do about the P0170 code.
Any help would be appreciated.

If the O2 sensor is bad it will cause a problem with the fuel trim. because thats what controls the fuel trim. Replace the O2 sensor, then drive it for a few days and the other code should go away.
