Top stack rubber bumper replacement?
I bought a 98 SLK 230, and one of the rubber bumpers that the folded top stack sits on in the trunk is missing. The local Mercedes dealer has a replacement one, but it is much different than the other one on my car. The new one has a rubber arrowhead type thingy on the bottom that fits in a hole. My car has what looks like a vertical rod with a nickel on top. The rubber bumper slips over this. The parts guy said they don't make the original style anymore. Has anyone dealt with this problem?
