1999 slk

New to MB SLK world!

Hello everyone!
I just bought my first mercedes (slk230) last friday (2 days ago) - I'd like to take it for inspection but I am trying to avoid taking it to the dealeship. Anyone know of a trustworthy Mercedes Specialty Shop in the San Francisco Bay Area?
Anyway, so far I am loving it!
Although gas seems to go fairly quick on this one - how many miles per tank should I expect out of my baby?

99 SLK 230 - US Model

Congrats on your new ride!

I purchased my SLK 230 last September and really enjoy! It is a great car, expect for the costs of the parts and the MB labor. I buy my parts fom suppliers over the internet and I do most of the labor myself; this makes the car much more affordable.

I get appx 25 mpg; more on the highway. You should get appx the same if the engine is in good shape.
