SLK/R170 Dash board - How to open?

Dash board - How to open?

Hello Everyone!
I'm not sure if there is another thread on this but I thought this might help everyone with similar problems.

I have a 2000 SLK230 Kompressor AMG. My Car's Dashboard, on the left side has Windshield washer warning light on. Also whenever I turn my headlight on, on the right side the headlight warning light turns on too. My headlights work ok but fog lights have been disconnected. All I wanna do is disable the lights.

Also, I wanna install a theft alert light on the Dash board.

All this could be achieved if I somehow could open the Dashboard. Is there anyone who has ever opened their Dashboard on a SLK230. Pictures would be greatly helpful.

Once I know how to open the Dash, I could post here on how to disable the annoying warning lights.
