New Slk Owner With Questions
GREETINGS:
We recently purchased on 00 SLK-230 Kompressor - Limited Edition (not sure what makes it an LE other than some special trim accents, etc.).
My question: I can find headlight chrome rings all day long but nobody lists chrome rings for the side lights after 1999 - any ideas???

The Limited Edition has badges, special trim, floor mats, and wheels. A nice-looking trim package overall.
You may be out of luck on the side light rings. The US-spec versions didn't even have these lights after '99...

I believe the side lights are the same ones in the CLK as well. I have seen chrome rings for them on sites outside the US like in the UK or Europe. Check with the dealership or some older CLK owners to make sure they are the same.
