Your Two Cents wanted
After almost for months wait I am finally picking up my 2007 SLK next week. I would appreciate your comments and suggestions so I can close this deal. I have not bought a new car in a while so your help is mvery much appreciated.
I ordered the following:
2007-1 SLK 350
Capri Blue, Ash Leather, Premium III(P03), Leather Str Wheel/Shift Knob (280), Lighting Pkge (319), AMG Package (321), Heating Pkge (323), Auto Trans (427), Gearshift Paddles (428) and Auto Climate CTRL (581)
Price without sales tax, registration and fees = $55,369
I know it may sound too good to be true, but I want to hear some comments before I explain how I negotiated this price.
I think this is something close to 10% of MSRP
Also, the dealer wants to charge a "doc fee" of about $60; but I have always heard that this is just pure dealer profit.
I also added the IPOD kit, wind screen and door sills for about $2550 extra (installed).

I just ran the numbers at MBUSA.com and you did BETTER than 10%. 
Did you take Giudo with you to negotiate? 
I can't comment on the 350 as my wife barely let me get the 230.
