2005 ML350, 2006 SLK 350
Pre wired for iPod integration kit and DVD based Navigation
My wife just bought a 2006 SLK 350. Nice car... anyway, in the #609 Entertainment Package it states that this car is Pre wired for iPod integration kit and DVD based Navigation. The salesman said it was a simple job to plug in components. However, when I called my dealer I was quoted 3350.00 to install the NAV and iPod cradle. They told me the dash had to be dismantled and wireing connected to the back of the command unit, as well as remove the tunnel to run wireing from the trunk area. If the car is pre wired for these components, why all the labor / cost ?
