Here's the one on the left front axle. Go to my website's resource page and for the SLK go to Component Locations and look for Vehicle Speed Sensor to see all 4.

But where is the "Transmission Speed Sensor" (Code 109)?

Where is that code coming from? A P0109 is a MAP Sensor code. Are you sure it's not a P0709 code, Transmission Range Sensor? Maybe the 7 looks like a 1 to you?

I'm having intermittent transmission trouble:
http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r170...wierdness.html

In a reply, a member with a similar problem said he had a Code 109 from his transmission computer. His dealer replaced the "Transmission speed sensor".

Another member suggested checking the transmission codes:
http://www.whnet.com/4x4/dtc-722-6.txt
"Diagnostic Trouble Codes for the Mercedes-Benz 722.6 Transmission"
"109 Component Y/36n# (speed sensor 3) is sporadiacally faulty"

I'm grasping a straws before I give up and take it to the dealer.
